Have you ever wanted to blast your friend with an mp5 or snipe them with a nice g2/sg1 but wouldn't want to serve that life sentence for murder? Well have I got the thing for you. It's called airsoft. They are perfect replicas of real guns, down to the loading of the magazines which shoot 6mm bbs. They are completely legal. What's even more cool is the fact that there are games that are played on paintball fields using these guns instead. So yes, you too can play ct or t in real life. These guns have a velocity from 280 feet per second all the way up to 500. For more info, check out www.airsoftzone.com (http://www.airsoftzone.com)
and for prices and a few great photos of airsoft gaming www.airsoftcommand.com (http://www.airsoftcommand.com) (the guy who runs this site is really nice and will help you with any questions)
Remember kiddies, you must be 18 to buy

/me grabs his Spyder TL Plus! I'm never leaving my baby.
500 velocity, that's really, really high. Even with paintballs, that would seriously hurt someone...even with bb's that has to hurt like a bitch.

I knew eventually that you would get your airsoft in there somehow Shakes....
In case any of you haven't heard, Shakes recently bought an mp5, and this is his way of bragging about it without saying it http://www.fr3nsyc.net/ubb/smile.gif
Me too, Im not gonna leave PB very easily, it'll take some doing for me to give it up. As for the velocity, I think that 500 fps is a little steep, that's over 340mph!

Generally the average velocity is 300fps. Snipers usually up their guns to about 350 with some upgrades. I was mostly saying it's possible to get it too 500. Although that would piss off alot of people if you tried to play with something that shot that fast.

I;m right there with you Lead. As for me, I'm into Paintball. I dunno how much it costs to play Airsoft, but it suuure is expensive to play Paintball. I got a really basic version of a Spyder paintgun, which costed about $135.
Here's a list of all the accesoris I've bought:
pro bolt-$20
custom velocity adjuster-$20
new double-trigger assembly-$60
high volume chamber-$20
hoses and elbows-$20
custom grip-$20
expansion chamber hose converter-$20
expansion chamber-$60
drop forward tank assembly-$30
drop forward grip converter-$20
field-strip thumbscrew set-$10
ammo box elbow-$5
Armson 16" rifled barrel-$60
spring kit-$10
you can definitely see how much I paid for accessories, almost $375! Not to mention all the admission fees to parks, also, which is about $25 to get in, and I've gone about six times, so thats another $150. And the paint.Ouch. Each case of about 2000-2500 costs about 60-80, and I've probably bought about 8 cases, so thats another $560. Plus co2. Each bottle runs about $3, and I've filled near 25 of em, so thats another $75.
Which brings me to a grand total of:$1160!
Can you see how fast it adds up? Sure, my guns great, and I'm pleased, but all the upgrades and "stuff" get to be pretty expensive.
Anyways, time to get back to work, so I can earn $$$ to play again soon, I hope!

That's another thing, 3 thousand bb's only run ya about 18 bucks. That'll last you about three skirmishes too.

Wowsers, seems like loads of fun. Well someone mentioned being shot must hurt, well heres my lil bit on it.
I was at a friend's house, reflection, and he recently purchased 2 replicas of rifles and 1 of a mac 10 that shot plastic bb's.
They seemed relatively harmless and then when we were messin round (yeh yeh yeh, the usual scene for harm and danger) he shot me point blank with the stronger of the rifles and it luckily missed the vital parts of my face and hit me in the chin.
Despite it being plastic, it still left a big ass red mark that looked like a zit that turned into a ugly ass scar. So yup.. it hurts.. my bottom lip/chin area was numb for about the next 3 hours =X aiite bye

Image, when you play you don't run around with no face protection http://www.fr3nsyc.net/ubb/smile.gif some places make you wear full paintball face mask. Other then that, alot of people either use bandanas or balaclaves with goggles.
