Dual pistol poll

I'm just wondering why there are so many "Yes" votes to the current poll regarding Beta 7's dual pistol announcement. Personally, I voted no, because for some reason I just don't like it (in other words: I'll come up with a semi-decent reason why later). For those of you who voted (mostly you who voted "Yes"), would you mind providing a reason behind your liking/disliking of it?

I voted No the other day.. Too unrealistic. I mean, why the hell would regular counter terrorrists be gunning around TWO barettas? Are they on film?<br clear=all>

I say Yes, because whenever I run out of ammo for my primary gun, (mp5, colt) it would be swell to have a secondary to back me up while I can retreat and reload my primary in tense areas, Ye I say, ye!

Example, on lets say you run into an area and you have lost your team and you you encounter two guys, you shoot at both of them trying to retreat, but they have more firepower combine- So you pull out your akimbo and finish off one of em atleast..

there are hundreds of reasons, but I have bad typing/grammar/spelling skills so I'll just leave it at that and sthu.

Jones, what's the difference of having an extra pistol when your primary gun starts clicking? Chances are, because that there will be 2, the guns will be pretty weak. If you want a pistol with good stopping power, the Desert Eagle (maybe even the USP?) would be the way to go.

I like it. Personally cause it has a John Woo signature all over it =D and also, It would be nice to have those suckers around while sniping. I mean the usp is good, very accurate and strong, it's definitly worth having a usp with an awp. But now this thing comes around, well let's just say that sniping might become more popular. Also, in beta 4 someone was able to carry 2 pistols. It's like beta 4 but u get to have it at once. And it's most likely only Terrorists can have them.

I havent voted but I know i would vote no because of the unrealism as well,

and JJ in Beta 4 you could carry all 4 pistolas


problem with CS... guns of the same caliber arent the same damage doers

MP5 is stronger than a TMP (im sure)
G3 is stronger than the scout (im VERY sure)
USP is stronger than a Mac10
and CS considers the AK-47, Scout, and G3 all the same caliber for some odd reason.

I don't know about some of you guys but, I haven't really decided "YA" or "NAYE". Personally, I'd think it'd be fun wielding 2 beretas and running head strong into a guy with 'em. But, as for realism goes it can...and it can't be consider "REAL". See in "REAL LIFE" you COULD carry two pistols (or in films staring Arnold Schwartzeneger 2 .50 caliber machine guns). http://www.fr3nsyc.net/ubb/biggrin.gif But, also in "REAL LIFE" you really couldn't take 3 clips of an MP5 and still be walking around killing people. LoL ok 4 guns what ever, I liked only 2, deagle and sig p228 all I needed. used the sig to snipe and deagle to shoot thru crates and stuff =) Any way, yea exactly it's a game. I like cs, I'm glad they're not making this like rogue spear. In beta 6 it got a little too much like it. Plus, I wouldn't mind having 2 pistols with my awp, it gets a little tense close range with that awp... if ya know what I mean?
