OK We all know Lead plays under Evil Llama and I use Speshul Llama every now and then.

I got tired of using Speshul Llama so I just used the word "Llama" for the past 2 days.

Today I went in there, realizing my name was still that, and was like "OK fine I guess I could use that."

I made it clear it clear that it was ME behind the name... and went on playing a map or two like that.

Then in de_dust, I realized that Guido had admin_llamaed me, and I could no longer speak. Even when other regs came in, I couldn't even say "Hi" to them.

I'm SICK and TIRED of admins completely abusing it against players. I have no problem with Phunny or Hick messing around with settings... but having an admin llama me for no reason (or perhaps because I was 22/7 right then and Guido was below ratio) is a slap in the face.

I hope that when you guys assign admin powers to people, MAKE IT CLEAR that they do not abuse it. Or abuse it without a good reason at least.

I joined the server for some Fr3n today and found myself to be gagged by an admin who thought it would be fun to shut me up, even though I wasn't talking a lot. I tried to tell Guido that it wasn't cool, and asked politely for him to Unllama me. But of course, since I was GAGGED, I couldn't even communicate!

So I reconnected, and then got the message that there are no reserved slots for me.

I joined to have fun, and I WAS having fun. But he ruined it for me.

I DON'T find it cool at all to see admins llamaing regulars and ruining their game... because unless you're Phun, I don't think you have a right to do that.

I REALLY hope this doesn't happen again.

If you don't like the server, leave. If you do something stupid like playing under an assumed name (And not a very bright name at that), why should anyone listen to you on the server? 99% of the players are shmucks who get ignored. If you want to be ignored, go anonymous, if you want to be recognised use your own name.

Don't wanna even think how braindead you'd have to be to use the name "llama" and expect to be treated like a king....

Try "admins suck" or "Itkyou" for your next batch of names. They will have simmilar results.

Actually, he has a point. I'd be pissed too. So would you. If someone does something wrong, then I could see the slapping, gagging, etc. but if the guy is just having fun? Do that to me and see what happens. It's not fair. Time to reconsider the use of those toys, ppl.

You try getting all the icq messages, emails, IM's, etc. All this does is make my life a hell. I'd appreciate some consideration.

Well I'm sure he also just thought it would be "funny" to actually llama me because I was using the name "Llama" in a fun-mockery sense. Except it carried on for a few rounds and by then, I wanted to actually talk to some players (e.g. hippi came in and I wanted to say "Hi" but I guess all he heard was "Bleaat!")

Lead, although I get where you're coming from, I stressed that I made it clear to him who I was. Even a couple of times after I killed him, he'd do an admin message "Damn you Slope of Llama :)".

I thought it was a little funny at first too when he actually Llamaed me. But after awhile, the humor left and I was left trying to reconnect... only to find that the server was full and that ended my attempt of having some fun.

Anyhow, I'm not necessarily putting blame on Guido... I just want to make sure that nothing ever goes too far when it comes to admin powers.

Sorry if I came off as bitching and moaning... my frustration at the time was pretty high.

I'm sorry! :( I ICQed you with the link to the big list I posted because I wanted to make sure it was taken care of...

Wanna know why psychotherapists are horrible friends? Because they deal with other peoples problems all day everyday.

What's the difference between a fr3 admin and a psychotherapist? About 200k a year. But then, a psychotherapist never has someone walk up to them and say "You suck, you are my problem" and hand them 200$ for the session.

I get between 2 and 20 messages a day with server problems (people problems, on said server), and when I'm not online I get nothing but people problems intersperced with tech problems with the rare "Does this look liek dry rot to you?" problems.

If it isn't brought to me attention politly and bearing cookies and coffee, it gets put in the "Don't care, I'm busy, screw you" pile for later perusal.

I've never gotten a cookie online.

Well.. once.. and it wasn't a cookie... but then they took it back... and said "guess what song I like"....

So all online anythings are met with sarcasm, sloth, snideness, and a generall sense of "blech".

And every single one is the same. It's like a frickin form letter you fill out...

/me goes to answer e-mail.... there are 7 that got through the filters. I'll just bet you that not a single one is a "Hi, just wondering how your day was"....

And Lead, I have never messaged you with a tech problem or a personal problem... ever. The only messages I have sent to you were requests to deal with TKers and lamers on the server. And if you consider those to be senseless posts, I'll just remove you from the list of admins to message in the event of a lamer on the server next time. (But just a question: if an admin refuses to handle the TKers and lamers all the time, what's the point of him or her being an admin in the first place?) Just because a bunch of other people message you with senseless emails or ICQs doesn't mean that I do it too. Nor should it damage the integrity of this post.

Besides, I was directing it to all admins... and if you're tired of reading about this, then just leave it alone and up to other people to handle. Why waste your time reprimanding me? I'd rather you not reply if your only response is "I don't want to hear about it." It'll save you from having to type it all out, and it'll save me time from reading it.

And as I recall, the last time I asked you how you were doing... you responded with "It's none of yer business." Hmmm... I don't know about you, but that seems to be a pretty damn good reason why people never ask you how you're doing. :p

I hope I don't come off as disrespectful to any other admins in this post, because I mean no disrespect. I just want to point a few things out to clarify the situation. As for Lead... I think anything I say comes off to him as some form of annoyance or disresepect, so I won't try to explain myself to him. :p
