Adaptec is good if you dont play on burning any games.. its only good for burning files and music... cd to cd copy on it sucks ass, there is a program called CD-R-Win great for burning BIN/CUE files and ISOs has a lot of nice options that i have no idea what they do.. but its what i use for games...

theres a proggie called cdclone that can make and exact copy of a cd, but ur burner has to be supported by it.
adaptec is a good program for files and audio cd's like babo said
cd-rwin is good for iso's like he said too http://www.fr3nsyc.net/ubb/smile.gif
nero seems to work good for some people too, i think tolerance uses that

Well, I used to use it.....but it doesn't support my Yamaha 16x burner right now, well, at least from the copy that I had from my old burner, so I am just using ADAPTEC now...
as for .BIN files, i use FIREBURNER....though it doesn't matter what you use, just your preference...
