Well I went into Fr3n today playing in 3rd-person mode and BloodShot kindly asked me to switch back, so I did.

But I'm not sure if any of you have tried this before... I personally think it's pretty neat. It's really fun, actually.

To play in 3rd person mode:

When in-game type the following in console:

cam_command 1
cam_idealyaw 90
retry


After you reconnect you're in 3rd-person view. A lot of people say this is a cheat because you get to see past walls and stuff... but the biggest trade-off for that is that you can't really aim. I think the trade-off isn't worth the ability to see through walls, so IMHO, it's not really a cheat.

But you guys tell me, should this be allowed or not within the Fr3nsyc server?

P.S. I just think it's cool cause you get to see yourself do all these neat little moves. :D

I dont know how this could be considered a cheat bub. Especially since you dont get to aim. Please by all means play like this all day so that you cant hit me.

BTW I think this is a different kind of 3rd person than the one you were talking about Lead. Was talking to Rei last night in another server and he said that there used to be a different way to do it... I'm thinking that "different way" is the one Vi did.

Nevertheless, 3rd-person is 3rd person. I'll do it only during Fun mode then. :)
