I was playing fr3nsyc server #2 between the times of 3:00 and 4:00 pm (pacific time). The map was cobble and I was counter-terrorist while roper was terrorist. I was rushing the courtyard and then taking a right into the corridor to come behind the t's that were rushing left (their left). Since they werent covering the courtyard, i was able to jump behind them on more than one occasions. And roper asked me if i was hacking.
First of all, I've been playing on fr3nsyc for a while. I have most of the regulars on my contact list on icq. And though I do not nearly have the level of senority that most of you do, I feel that my voice should be heard considering this matter.
I'd like to think that most of you know that I am not a hacker (or using scripts). You can realize that I was kinda shocked when roper asked if i was hacking. I always thought that roper was an okay guy. I always thought of him as a Good admin member that was always fair. I told him that I was honestly not hacking. I also asked him if he wanted me to get phun to come to the server and monitor me playing. I also asked if there was any way he could check the console or the server to see if I was hacking. He said that phun's services would not be needed and that there was no way that he could see if I was hacking. At this point I was somewhat upset, but the action he took after this was incredibly unjust from my point of view.
After this, he decided to put my dismissal up to popular vote. He said that he couldn't prove that I was hacking and that the only way he could act is by doing a vote in order to boot/ban me. You can understand my dismay when this situation came up. How can the opinions of a bunch of players (most of which weren't even members) treat me justly on the matter?
I really think that I shouldn't have to justify myself, but I will do it now for the record. First of all, No I was not hacking. I was, on a consistent basis, buying an m3 w/ body armor and rushing. I took out my knife and rushed the courtyard. After that I went right through the corridor and took out my gun. In doing so, I snuck up on them by surprise. If Roper thinks that I was rushing too fast for his taste I'm really sorry he feels that. Those were the only actions that I have taken. I assure you I have no hacks/scripts on my computer. Perhaps the fact that I consistently have 20-40 ping contributed to my ability to rush at the level I did. Perhaps I was just rushing fast, and roper was mad that I was rushing fast. I really dont know.
I plead with phun and the rest of the admins to check the log for that server at that time. I also plead for you to check me for hacking (if you are able to check that). It is my opinion that Roper handled this matter in an extremely unjust manner. I have a great deal of respect for all of the admins (besides this case of course) and I feel that all of them handle situations in a very professional manner. Thanks for your time.
